sim slot

This command enables one of the two SIM slots of the external 5G cellular module (Mediant 5G-EA and Mediant 5G-EA-G).

Syntax

sim slot <Slot #>

Default

By default, both modes are enabled and the module automatically chooses a mode according to the cellular network.

For Mediant 5G-EA-G:

●

The physical SIM card is associated with SIM slot 1; the eSIM is associated with SIM slot 2.

●

Only one SIM slot can be enabled at any given time (either eSIM or physical SIM); not both.

■

For Mediant 5G-EA, up to two SIM cards (no eSIM) can be inserted (in slot 1 and 2). However, only one SIM card can be used at any given time.
